Service Description

Being a student athlete is a difficult job, especially if the goal is to play at the collegiate level. No matter the level, no matter the sport, student athletes are under a microscope. The small things that matter (dress code, classroom conduct, practice habits, punctuality, hand shakes, speaking to adults and coaches, etc) tend to become big things if not done or handled correctly. How do you speak to a college coach? What questions should you ask and what things should you focus on? Why is studying college rosters important before you accept a scholarship or financial aid offer? What matters when you are trying to get recruited? Is it just good enough to simply be good? Our team will work with both athletes and coaches to help prepare for the recruiting process as it relates to these “small” things that in reality, are big things. We cover items such as, but not limited to the following: 1. Job interview tips and tricks (virtual and in person) 2. Dress code importance and ideas 3. Questions to ask college recruiters and college admissions office representatives. 4. Social media exposure 5. Separating yourself from “the pack” when focusing on recruiting Ghost Educational Consultants also offers services to coaches from all levels (CYO, AAU, High School, College) on how to effectively create, develop and manage a winning culture within your respective programs. What’s the best practices for dealing with parents? How do you communicate with your student athletes? How detailed are your practice plans, game plans and other organizational materials? Together, our partnership with any coach or program is designed to help with the daily movement and growth of individual athletic programs.
